  1. More than 20 years of experience with agencies like R&R Partners, where he helped open the LA office and increase billings 400%, as well as Kaiser Marketing in Los Angeles, and MMGY Global, Callahan, and Bernstein-Rein in the Midwest.
  2. Chris has served as a marketing director, account director, copywriter, creative director and brand strategist so he understands all sides of a marketing challenge.
  3. He attended the University of Kansas where he was actively involved in campus journalism, hosting a radio show and weekly sports column in the newspaper.
  4. With a focus on travel and tourism, sports and higher education, Chris has developed revenue-generating and award-winning campaigns for Norwegian Cruise Line and Catalina Island, the NBA and runDisney, plus Pepperdine University, NC State University and Duke University, plus Care1st Health Plan, Vivint, Crush, Velcro Companies, and many more.
  5. Chris is an avid golfer, sports fan, reader and inspired traveler. He believes in learning every day, and finds valuable lessons from his children Finnley and Anderson.

As Partner and VP, Marketing, Chris shares over 20 years of coast-to-coast agency experience as a creative marketer and intuitive team leader, possessing in-depth knowledge of brand strategy and activation across broadcast, digital, social, print, mobile, experiential and out-of-home mediums. He has earned a unique and insightful POV through his work in nearly every agency role, from copywriter, to account director, strategy lead, marketing director and creative director. This varied background has secured Chris’ genuine appreciation for the contributions of every team member, lending their individual talents while collectively working towards a successful overall project. With diverse industry work in Travel & Tourism, Sports, and Startups, Chris has the adaptive ability to connect a brand to its target audience across all marketing channels, through advertising, brand strategy, marketing planning, and campaign development and execution, consistently positioning his clients for success.

Originally a Kansas native, Chris attended the University of Kansas where he was actively involved in campus journalism, hosting a radio show and weekly sports column in the newspaper. Upon graduation, he was introduced to #agencylife working as a copywriter for Kansas City retail shop Bernstein-Rein, branding agency Callahan Creek, and travel and tourism specialist MMGY Global. The allure of Los Angeles captured his attention in 2000, when he left to pursue an exciting opportunity developing integrated campaigns that were both revenue-generating and award-winning on behalf of brands like Norwegian Cruise Line, Pepperdine University, NBA.com, Crush, runDisney, Care1st Health Plan, Central Garden and Pet, Catalina Island and many more.

After 16 years, Chris and his wife, Misty, began to look beyond Los Angeles to raise their young family (daughter Finnley and son Anderson, from whom he “learns something valuable every day”). When the opportunity to join a growing agency doing cool work in a market like Raleigh arose, Chris jumped at the chance – and hasn’t looked back since!
