We’re starting a new weekly Tradition at O3 – #TEDTuesday – where we’ll recommend a TED Talk that’s worth your time.

To start out, this Tuesday we’re recommending three top TED Talks on branding. All three videos are pre-2010, but a must watch for anyone who runs a company and/or is in charge of brand.

Start With Why | Simon Sinek – 2009

The TED Talk and the book by the same name are so valuable in identifying the essence of any brand. It’s a must watch (and read) for all marketers.

What Consumers Want | Joseph Pine – 2004

Brands being authentic above all else. Understanding the heritage of your brand. We are entering an experience economy. Ideas and themes that are incredibly accurate and as relevant in 2016 as they were in 2004. Only the PPT doesn’t stand the test of time.

How to Get Your Ideas to Spread | Seth Godin – 2007

So much valuable information is covered in 15 minutes, it almost requires a second viewing. How far ahead of the curve is this on influencer marketing? Totally forgot about too, but maybe that’s a good thing.
