As Senior Brand Experience Designer, Matt develops visual solutions to build and enhance brands. He thinks in patterns and uses that to create cohesive, purposeful experiences across channels. As a designer, he enjoys working with constraints and activating his creativity within them.
Matt’s design career began after studying visual communication in college, where he found a passion for typography, layout design, and identity design. After working at print shops for a year, he attended NC State’s College of Design, where he fine-tuned his design skills through research, systematic thinking, and collaboration. Since graduating, Matt has been applying his design expertise within the marketing industry, collaborating with clients and creatives to develop meaningful brand experiences.
Matt has a Masters of Graphic Design from North Carolina State University and a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina. When he’s not elevating brands at Walk West, you can find him listening to music, playing disc golf, or at a brewery with friends.
