Our Approach

Everything we do at Walk West starts with data. This is especially true in our media and analytics approach. We start by capturing all the data available to create a technical audit for our clients. This allows us to get a better understanding of how the data is set up and where we need to provide recommendations on optimizations.  Then we use research and the understanding of our client’s business goals to create a measurement plan that provides actionable KPI’s that we can tie back to business goals. Once the measurement plan and KPI’s are in place, we begin our media planning process.

We look at media planning as a mix of art and science.  Since the media landscape is rapidly changing and media consumption habits are evolving, we strive to find a balance of creative-led media with a performance marketing mindset. This allows us to create unique media plans for our clients that are steeped in data-led recommendations but with media tactics that have the ability to drive earned impressions.

Reporting & Optimization

While the media campaign is in market, our data analysts are  constantly working within the platforms to find ways to optimize our campaigns to exceed our clients KPI’s. We use Tableau as our dashboard platform which allows us to create unique, custom reports that our clients view in real-time. This provides our clients with true transparency into their media buy and allows us to visualize results that are easily digestible for everyone.

Who We Are

The Media and Analytics team at Walk West is led by Mike Manganillo, Director of Marketing. Mike oversees the strategic approach and implementation of media and content across all channels. With over two decades of experience in media and advertising, Mike has worked with a wide array of distinguished brands from JetBlue and Foot Locker to Sherwin-Williams and CenturyLink. He has been a part of several award-winning campaigns and is the proud host of his own marketing-focused podcast.
